Linda Mitchell-Storer, owner of "Vintage Finery - Costumes & Bridal" in Orrington, Maine, has an amazing collection of both men's and women's vintage to new clothing, including an inventory of antique clothing that goes back to the 18th century.
Linda has been collecting distinctive wearing apparel since she was a teenager. Over a period of 35 years, she has collected an incredible assortment of both vintage and antique clothing. In addition to the fancy stuff, Linda has hundreds...of used clothing (women's designer jeans, tops, dresses..ect) for a very low price! On hand are thousands...of unique items at "Vintage Finery". A HUGE... selection of wedding gowns, prom dresses, tuxedos, beaded gowns, 4,000 square feet of costumes from every historical decade from the medieval to the 2000s including Las Vegas show girls, gangsters, fairy tale characters, gypsies and everything in between. She has 3,000 hats, over 300 wigs, gloves, shoes, jewelry, bags, coats, fancy furs, women's , complete accessories and MORE! Linda has provided her expertise in wardrobe for award winning featrure films, theatre projects, fashion shows, modeling shoots and to the general public.
Linda's dream is to someday open her own museum in Maine, where she can display her rare collection of antique clothing to the public and visitors from around the world.
